Introductory Physics Sequence

There are 4 lecture tracks available –

     All are Calculus-Based

              All satisfy medical school requirements

All can be used as entrances to a Physics major

           1) - Physics 170/171   (closest to AP Physics - with examples from the biological sciences)

          2) - Physics 180/181   (closest to AP Physics - with examples from the physical sciences)

          3) - Physics 200/201   (beyond AP Physics)

          4) - Physics 260/261   (significantly beyond AP Physics)

       There are 2 lab sequences:

Lab 1 - Ph 165La/166Lb  (goes with lecture #1-2 above)

Lab 2 - Ph 205Lb/206La  (goes with lecture #3-4 above).
