The Department of Applied Physics at Yale University invite applications for a faculty appointment at the intersection of experimental materials science and experimental condensed matter physics. Applications will be considered at the Assistant Professor level.
The successful candidate is expected to initiate a vibrant research group, be an interactive member of the Applied Physics Department and contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or an equivalent degree, at the time of the hire. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2023.
