Event description:

In this talk I will show how the coset methodology can be applied to fermions at unitarity. The space-time symmetry breaking pattern places strong constraints on the interactions between the fermonic quasi-particles and the emergent bosons which drives the system away from Fermi liquid behavior as the scattering length increases. Conformal perturbation theory then leads to predictions for the behavior near the unitary limit.
