Yale Center for Astronomy & Astrophysics Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship

Job blurb:

The Yale Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics invites applications for the YCAA Postdoctoral Prize Fellowship. Applicants must have received their Ph.D. in astronomy or astrophysics/cosmology. The Fellowship is for three years (renewed annually subject to performance) and offers competitive salary, benefits and research funds.

Yale offers a lively intellectual environment and access to world-class astronomical facilities, including the Keck, Palomar and SMARTS telescopes, and to Chilean telescopes through an ongoing Chilean collaboration. Yale is an institutional member of the SDSS-IV collaboration and the Fellow will have access to High-Performance Computing facilities at Yale.

Fellows are free to carry out their own research program, although research interests that intersect with those of the Yale astrophysics faculty (see ycaa.yale.edu/people/faculty) are preferred. Active research at Yale spans most areas in astrophysics and includes theoretical, observational and instrumentation efforts.
