Biographical Sketch:
I earned my PhD at MIT in atomic physics, where I studied rotating quantum gases. Before that, I earned my degree in physics at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, which is my hometown.
Research :
We are building an experiment to study quantum gases in optical lattices that have rotational symmetry and long-range order, but no translation symmetry.
