Research Area

High-energy theoretical physics, with a focus on quantum field theory, string theory, holography, and scattering amplitudes. At Yale, I will be working with Professor Ian Moult in the high-energy theory group.

Research Interests

My research focuses on quantum field theory, string theory, and the AdS/CFT correspondence. I develop analytic methods to study holographic correlation functions and scattering amplitudes, using symmetries and consistency conditions to determine their structure. My recent work includes loop corrections to holographic correlators, string scattering amplitudes in anti-de Sitter space, and energy correlators. These calculations help us understand how gravitational and string dynamics are encoded in quantum field theory.

Biography

Bo Wang is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Physics at Yale University. Before joining Yale, he received his Ph.D. in physics from Zhejiang University in 2026, under the supervision of Professor Ellis Ye Yuan. His work explores the relationship between quantum field theory and gravity through the AdS/CFT correspondence, with particular interests in holographic correlation function, string scattering amplitudes and energy correlators.
