The Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC) serves as a point of communication between graduate students and the department leadership. GSAC advises the Chair, the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS), and other faculty on matters related to graduate students and the graduate program, including (but not limited to) coordinating departmental events and advocating on behalf of graduate students with the Chair and DGS.  Read more.

Yale Physics joins American Physical Society Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Alliance (APS-IDEA)

Yale Physics, including Wright Lab, is now part of the American Physical Society Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Alliance (APS-IDEA), which is a new initiative with a mission of empowering and supporting physics departments, laboratories, and other organizations to identify and enact strategies for improving equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). It will do so by establishing a community of transformation.  We are building our own local network now and will post an update soon
