Event description: 

Join the Kimball Smith Series for a moderated panel followed by small group discussions on climate change solutions. The panel will feature experts Susan Biniaz (Jackson School Senior Fellow and deputy to US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate) and Daniel Prober (Yale Professor of Applied Physics & Electrical Engineering). Attendees will learn about obstacles to reducing carbon emissions in the US and abroad, as well as the history and current status of international climate negotiations. Yale community members of all disciplines and levels of expertise are encouraged to attend. This event is hosted in partnership with the School of the Environment, International Security Studies, Department of Political Science, Department of Physics and Wright Laboratory.
