Event description:

The quantum disentangled liquid (QDL) is a recently propsed state of matter
which challenges the known paradigms of relaxation in isolated, quantum
many-body systems.
To date, evidence is limited to exact diagonalisation studies on small system
sizes.
Motivated by these numerical results, we offer supporting evidence from
integrability in the one-dimensional Hubbard model.
We also consider a strong coupling expansion of the half-filled Hubbard model on
bipartite lattices, providing futher corroboration with previous results.
In higher dimensions we find that a QDL behaviour is obtained at least to
leading order in the expansion.
