Event description:

Rodrigo Maillard is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Georgetown University. Dr. Maillard obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, and his PhD in Molecular Biophysics from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After his graduate studies, Dr. Maillard did a postdoctoral fellowship in Single Molecule Biophysics at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Maillard’s research group at Georgetown develops new experimental tools to study the molecular mechanisms underlying cooperative interactions and allosteric regulation in protein kinases.
