Meg Urry (Israel Munson Professor Physics & Astronomy) is attending as a Team Leader for the U.S. Delegation to the conference, and Emma Ideal (graduate student) is attending as a U.S. delegate.
The ICWIP’s enterprise is to assemble an international playground for discussions on how to improve the current situation for women physicists globally as well as celebrate the accomplishments of women in the field. Webcasting the conference affords the opportunity to reach an audience greater than simply those in attendance.
