Hidden Zeros of Cosmological Amplitudes
Recent work has uncovered remarkable hidden zeros in particle and string amplitudes, which occur at special kinematic configurations where the amplitudes vanish. In this talk, we will explore how similar structures appear in cosmological observables. Focusing on a theory of conformally coupled scalars, we will characterize zeros of individual graph contributions to the cosmological wavefunction, demonstrate predictive factorization on near-zero kinematics, and present their geometric realization through objects known as graph associahedra. Finally, we will demonstrate that certain wavefunction coefficients align with flat-space amplitudes of Tr(ϕ3) theory, enabling cosmological zeros to reveal the hidden zeros of colored amplitudes.
