Event description:
I will present perspectives and recent progress on the classification of bosonic and fermionic rational chiral algebras, as well as their finite generalized global symmetries. In particular, I will describe and compare various ways in which theory space can be organized into “genera” and discuss some physical implications. The talk is based on 2208.05486 (with Sunil Mukhi), 2303.16921, and 24xx.xxxxx (work in progress with Sven Möller).
