Isabella Graf
Postdoctoral Associate (Machta)
Biographical Sketch:
During my PhD I worked on self-organization in the context of the cell cytoskeleton and on non-equilibrium self-assembly of heterogeneous structures. At Yale, I will conduct research with Benjamin Machta. Using tools from (non-equilibrium) statistical physics, we hope to understand how cells tune their membrane composition to be close to a miscibility critical point.
I recently visited seven different countries in two weeks (not in Northern America, of course, but on the Balkans). In general, I enjoy traveling, nature and sports (biking, bouldering, swimming, skiing, hiking).
