Christian Weber, currently a research assistant in physics at Brookhaven National Laboratory, was selected as a “Rising Star in Experimental Particle Physics” at the University of Chicago. The UChicago Rising Stars in Experimental Particle Physics Symposium is a platform for exceptional early-career scientists in the broad fields of soft and biological materials, quantum science and technology, and experimental particle physics to present their work.  These speakers are chosen for their track record of research accomplishments and demonstrated contributions to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM.

He presented a talk, “Probing dark sectors with the Higgs Boson”, at the Rising Stars in Experimental Particle Physics Symposium September 22-23, 2021. See below for further information.
