In August we prepared to send the Physics remote learning kits (Yale Daily News Story of August 31, 2020 by Giovanna Truong). It is now October, and one example of some of the issues Sid Cahn has encountered was the multiple attempts to get the kit to Earnest Chen (YC’2022 Neuroscience major) which required the personal touch. Per Sid Cahn, “Because of the issues with USPS AND FedEx and delivering to an apartment at Trump Place (Missing parts from tubes, tubes fractured, foreign material added to tubes), my wife, Laura, drove “The Box” to Earnest Chen of PHYS165 this afternoon from New Haven. He lives somewhat near where her apartment used to be on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Above is the happy student with “The Box”.” I hope we have better luck with the spring term shipments.
