Professor Michael Schmidt elected to Fellowship in the American Physical Society

Michael Schmidt (Professor of Physics) has been elected to Fellowship in the American Physical Society for “pioneering work in the technology and analysis of neutral B meson decays at the Tevatron Collider, leading to precision measurements of the mass matrix of the neutral B mesons.” This announcement was published in the Spring 2008 Prizes & Awards announcement of APS News.
