Welcome to Danny Weiss who comes to us as a Postdoctoral Associate from Northwestern University. He is working with Steven Girvin and Shruti Puri at the Yale Quantum Institute in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics. Weiss is interested in Quantum information and computing.
Weiss received his PhD from Northwestern University in 2022, where his research focused on quantifying the coherence of protected superconducting qubits (such as the current-mirror circuit) as well as developing novel coupling and control schemes for fluxonium qubits. He enjoys playing ice hockey, walking his dog and reading non-fiction spy books.
About his research, Weiss states, “I am interested in possible physical implementations of QRAM, specifically using superconducting circuits.”
