Faculty position in theoretical physics

The Department of Physics at Yale University invites applications for a faculty appointment in the area of theoretical physics. Applications will be considered at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor level. The areas of interest for this search include nuclear physics, particle physics, cosmology and astrophysics, broadly defined.

The successful candidate is expected to initiate a vibrant research group, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute broadly to the activities of the Physics Department. Applicants must hold a Ph.D in Physics, or an equivalent degree, at the time of the hire. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2020.
