The Analytic Functional in the Numerical Conformal Bootstrap
The analytic functional represents the coefficients obtained by expanding conformal blocks in terms of the corresponding AdS Witten diagrams. This framework provides a more natural perspective on the crossing equation in the conformal bootstrap, both from analytical and numerical standpoints. Evidence suggests that this basis is more efficient than the conventional derivative basis, offering promise for addressing several long-standing challenges in the conformal bootstrap program. In this talk, I will discuss the implementation of analytic functionals in general dimensions, with particular emphasis on three-dimensional conformal field theories (CFTs).
