The Yale Department of Physics welcomes applications to our matriculating graduate class of 2027 beginning around September 15th, 2026. The General GRE and Physics GRE scores are Optional for applications received by the December 15, 2026, submission deadline. All applications are reviewed holistically, and preference will not be given to students who do or do not submit GRE scores.
